Days of our Lives fans who just can't get enough of Martha Madison (Belle Black) will be happy to hear that the actress has booked a brand-new role.
The Virginia native took to Twitter with the exciting news, writing, "HOLY SCHMOLY! Just booked a recurring gig on One Mississippi! So excited for the table read tomorrow! #Comedy #PrimeTime #Amazon"
One Mississippi is a dark comedy loosely inspired by star Tig Notaro's life. The series follows Tig as she navigates a complex re-entry into her childhood hometown in Mississippi to deal with the unexpected death of her mother. Reeling from her own recently declining health, Tig struggles to find her footing with the loss of the one person who actually understood her.
At this time, it's unclear which role Madison, who will be exiting DAYS later this year, will play and how her character will fit onto the canvas.
