Talk about a surprise move! Eileen Davidson, who currently stars as both Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless and herself on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is making a return to Days of our Lives!
TV Insider is reporting the actress returned to work on June 5 and will begin airing in November of this year. Mum's the word on who she'll be playing under new head writer Ron Carlivati's direction; she could just as easily be portraying a brand-new character as she could be resuming one of her two previous Salem alter egos, Kristen DiMera or Susan Banks.
Davidson was last seen on DAYS back in 2015, when Kristen was presumed dead. News of her return is also sparking rumors that the NBC soap has recast the role of E.J. DiMera, last played by James Scott. After all, Susan is the über popular character's mother...
As for how her DAYS stint will affect her time on Y&R, insiders say the actress will continue to appear on Y&R -- meaning the reality star just might be pulling triple duty!
