As the World Turns alum Trent Dawson (ex-Henry Coleman) is heading to General Hospital's Port Charles later this month, and he'll be bringing a familiar face with him.
Northern Exposure and Popular star Diane Delano (ex-Agent Hilda, Days of our Lives) has been cast as Huxley's assistant, Margarethe, reports Soap Opera Digest.
"I actually reached out to [co-head writer] Jean Passanante on Facebook to find out how the name is pronounced," Dawson told the publication of her GH role. "She said, ‘You know the song, How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? [from The Sound of Music] -- Sister Margaretta, that's what I want it to sound like.' So, right before I had to say the line, I was hurrying to find the song on YouTube!"
Delano also appeared in "Fumbling thru the Pieces," a web series starring One Life to Live's Hillary B. Smith (ex-Nora Buchanan).
At this time, there's no word on exactly when Delano first airs, but Dawson's Huxley debuts Monday, June 13, meaning she won't be too far behind.
